What does the Coordinator of Worship Volunteers do?
At St. Thomas a'Becket, the Coordinator of Worship Volunteers is responsible for the preparation of the liturgy including:

• Overseeing the recruiting, training and scheduling of all volunteers for the various Worship related ministries including sacristans, Eucharistic ministers, lectors, ushers, altar servers, wedding coordinators and greeters.
• Ordering and maintaining of all liturgical supplies including hosts, wine, candles, incense, palms, etc.
• Overseeing all things related to Art and Environment i.e. decorating the Worship space and Gathering space throughout the year according to the Liturgical calendar. This also includes cleaning the Worship space, sacristy, cleaning and maintenance of priest's vestments, altar linens, etc.
• Responsible for the preparation of the Worship space for baptisms, weddings, funerals, various services throughout the year i.e. Taize, etc.
