VIRTUAL TOUR: All Are Welcome Quilt

The Poke-n-STAB quilters were established in August of 1999. They worked on the quilt for the new church for two years. The main panels of the quilt portray the seven sacraments and other important aspects of what St. Thomas a’Becket Parish is all about, mainly, family, Christian service, education and youth. The two doves represent peace both within our parish family and the world. The center square is the Canterbury Cross, central to our new church. The corners are stained glass windows which anchor the quilt. The group has hand appliquéd and hand quilted the whole project. It was a labor of love and commitment for the Poke-n-STAB group.
