ABOUT RELAY FOR LIFE

This page is designed to give you some specific information about the Relay for Life-Canton and the St. Thomas a'Becket Relay for Life teams. For more general information about Relay, please visit the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life page.

• YouTube video: They say a picture is worth a thousand words. The best way to get a feel for Relay is to check out this video from the 2008 Relay.
• Hours: Relay for Life-Canton goes from Saturday, May 19, at 10:00 AM until Sunday, May 20, at 10:00 AM.
• Weather: Relay goes on rain or shine (or hail or wind or...). (Pray hard for great weather!)
• Who is invited: Children, adults, and families of all ages are invited to this family friendly event. We warmly invite you to join one of the St. Thomas a'Becket teams raising money: Our Breath of Life-Becket team or our Youth Group Quacking for a Cure team.
• What to Bring: Weather appropriate gear, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and money to spend on the many fabulous booths offering food, drink, t-shirts, necklaces, games for kids, and other fabulous items. The proceeds of all sales at Relay for Life benefit the American Cancer Society.
• Parking: Plan to park in the library, Township, St. Joseph, Summit on the Park or Heritage Park parking lots. DO NOT PARK along Summit Parkway in the fire lane (between Heritage Park and the library) or you could be ticketed and/or towed.
• Ceremonies: Check out some of the incredible ceremonies that take place during Relay for Life.
• Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast: The Knights of Columbus prepare a pancake breakfast early on Sunday morning.
• Supporting Relay: Visit our Support Relay for Life page to find out more about how you can donate your time, talent or money to support this phenomenal event.
• Survivors: Please visit our Survivors page for information about the special ways in which you will be honored and can be involved.
