The dreamers
In the early 1970's, a burgeoning township began to emerge from farms and corn fields. Young people began moving into the area and Our Lady of Good Counsel in Plymouth was overwhelmed by the influx of new Catholic families. It became obvious to the Archdiocese that a new church was needed and, in early 1975, the birth of our parish began.
On April 23, 1977, Father Ernest Porcari called a meeting of the first pioneers at the home of the Cravens, located at 1645 Morrison Boulevard. The parish began here.
