THE MOTHER-DAUGHTER RETREAT

The 2012 Mother-Daughter Retreat was held at St. Thomas a'Becket on Saturday, January 21, 2012. Participants at the Mother-Daughter Retreat:

• Learned about the life of St. Catherine of Siena;
• Attended a session by speaker Judith Minton;
• Created silly sunglasses to remind all to see the world with "Angel Eyes;"
• Participated in a sticker swap, where we traded adjectives with one another to remind us how angels see us;
• Spend time with one another sharing refreshments and conversation.

The Schedule
2:00 - 2:15 PM: Meet in church, learn about St. Catherine of Siena
2:15 - 2:45 PM: Session 1 (either craft or speaker)
2:25 - 3:15 PM: Session 2 (either speaker or craft)
3:15 - 3:30 PM: Meet in Family Life Center for snacks and fellowship
3:30 - 4:15 PM: Slide show, group activities
4:15 PM: Dismiss for Mass

Our Guest Speaker

Judith Minton, BA, FLE

Judith is a Family Life Educator and certified in both Love and Logic and The Parent Talk System parenting programs.  She has presented programs, seminars and keynote speeches to parents and teachers at local, state-wide and national conferences.
