UPCOMING EVENTS

• Our next monthly meeting is on Tuesday, Feb 7, at 12:00 PM, and will consist of our usual luncheon plans by a small cooking team. The meal will be lasagna and salad. The meeting will start at noon with our attendance sign in, and nurses will be available to take blood pressure readings. Dan Parker from the Plymouth Historical Museum will offer a short 1/2 hour presentation on Abe Lincoln. Then we will play one of our favorite games, Scavenger Hunt, as we continue to socialize. Gene has asked us to bring items in our wallets, purses and pockets for the Scavenger Hunt game.

• Bingomania! Breakaway Gaming Centre And Windsor Raceway
  Thursday, Feb. 9 - $10
  The new Breakaway Gaming Centre is now open, with an electronic way to play Bingo. Windsor Raceway has been enlarged and renovated in a Roaring 20’s theme, and houses 750 slot machines. All passengers will receive $5.00 slot play money. Round trip transportation via deluxe highway motorcoach, restroom equipped and reclining seats for your comfort and convenience is provided. Bus will depart from the South parking lot at 9:30 AM and return approximately 6:45 PM.

  Mardi Gras at Caesars of Windsor The very prospect of nearly 3000 slot machines will have slot fans reeling with excitement! Table players — Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Caribbean Stud Poker, Let It Ride, or Pai Gow Poker are all available. Whatever your fancy, you will find it at Caesars Windsor with over 136 table games! Your casino package will include a free lunch buffet OR a $15 meal voucher OR a $15.00 coin voucher. Your trip will also include coffee, paczkis and special Mardi Gras Entertainment! ABOUT STA-50
The STA-50 CLUB is a social organization dedicated to provide a source of activity for the senior members of our parish. As the name implies, membership is for those over the age of 50. Most of our members are retirees.

Between September and June we meet once a month, typically on the first Tuesday at noon. We have nurses present to check blood pressure. We catch up with our friends and share a luncheon meal. Afterwards we either play a game, have a guest speaker or other entertainment. We celebrate the birthdays of our members for that month.

In December, we have an evening Christmas party followed by entertainment. In June, we have our spring banquet, also followed by entertainment. Once each year in March, we attend mass in remembrance of our deceased members and other intentions.

Annual membership dues are $15.00, payable at the September or October meeting.
