MOMs GROUP

The St. Thomas a'Becket MOMs Group is a social and spiritual group open to mothers of all ages. We meet bi-monthly at church to enjoy social time for moms and kids.

In 2010-2011, we will be meeting at the church from September through May from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. Child care will be available for all meetings, but children are also welcome in the meeting room.

We are an active group within the parish. We run the annual MOM-to-MOM Sale to help support our parish financially. We help to organize the Bunny Bonanza and the Mom Prom. We work hard to support mothers and encourage friendships. We plan many “ladies night out” events throughout the year and have a thriving book club which meets once a month in the evening.

There is always up to date information about MOMs Group activities to be found in the Chancellor, but the best way to get connected to the MOMs group is to join our Yahoogroup. Sign up now by visiting our Yahoogroup at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/momsgp and clicking the blue "Join this Group" button or by sending an email to Yahoogroup moderator Dawn Woodring at solstice_dawn@yahoo.com with your first and last name. Details about events and activities are always emailed to the group. It is also a great way to introduce yourself to a diverse and amazing group of women.
