BE A BUDDY COAT DRIVE

Many thanks to all of the volunteers
who made our Coat Drive such a success!

AMAZING - ABUNDANT - AWESOME !
These three "A’s” describe our St. Thomas a’Becket Parish Family. We made the call for help and you responded without question. Your Coat Drive Committee is so grateful for the huge success of the "Be A Buddy" coat drive/bake sale. We raised $2050.50 at the bake sale. As of today, the total amount donated is $3151 for bake sale and monetary donations. We collected 2378 coats, and then we have purchased 397 brand new coats for the ladies, kids, and men with money we raised. We have cleared out many stores of their clearance racks! How great is that? Many people are warm now because of your support.

Of course, this could not have happened without the help of so many hands. Let's begin with our office staff: Barb Palazzolo, Pam Michels, Dave Nowicki, Rick St. Peter and Jerry Miller who were always there with a smile to help us out with whatever we needed. We won’t forget all the "super bakers," along with our terrific Mom's Group bakers. A huge thank you goes out to all of our parishioners, who brought in so many coats, hats, scarves and mittens. A big thanks to the Senior Handcrafters from the Summit, who took all their left over yarn to make warm items for so many. How sweet was that???

Last, but certainly not least, thanks to all those who helped bag 2,378 coats. They have already been delivered to St. Anne's, St.Pat's, Phoenix Academy, The Legacy School, PCEP, Christ the King, the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, Holy Trinity, St. Dominic's, St. Christine's, and Wee Care. We can't tell you enough how wonderful you are. We are humbled by your generosity. St. Thomas a’Becket is Amazing, Awesome, and Abundant!!
