BUNNY BAGS

Bunny Bags will be available on March 16-17.
Please fill them with Easter goodness
and return them no later than
Sunday, March 24, at 1:30 PM
so that they can be distributed to children in need.

The Bunny Bag program is an annual Lenten tradition at St. Thomas a'Becket. Parishioners are invited to take a bunny bag to decorate and then to fill the bag with fun Easter items (i.e., small books, little toys or candy.) Bunny Bags MUST be returned no later than Palm Sunday. They will then be distributed to needy children by the Christian Service Commission during Holy Week.

Bunny Bags are delivered to people and organizations in our immediate and extended communities. In the past few years, we have given out 500-750 bags. Helping children in need is an affirmation of Jesus Christ's Easter promise. As St. Augustine said, "And he departed from our sight that we might return to our heart, and there find Him. For He departed, and behold, He is here."
