ABOUT LAURA BROYLES, OUR ADULT FAITH FORMATION DIRECTOR

I love this parish community and am so blessed to be part of the staff at St. Thomas a'Becket. I came to the parish in 2008 to focus on the two areas of ministry I love the most, Adult Faith Formation and the RCIA. Working with others as they grow in their own faith enriches my own!

Prior to coming here to a’Becket, I worked as Pastoral Associate at St. Owen in Bloomfield Hills for nine years. I have a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Ministry and Level Four certification from the Archdiocese. I am also a Procurator Advocate for the Marriage Tribunal and so can assist people seeking annulments.

I literally married the “boy next door.” Larry and I have two children and 5 grandchildren. Larry is retired and has since kept busy building us a “retirement” home. I love to cook (what can I say, I am Italian), read, travel, garden, work out (well, maybe I don’t really enjoy it, but nevertheless force myself several times a week), and someday would love get back to oil painting.
